The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine is the fourth largest Christian church in the world. Construction on this Episcopal Cathedral was begun in 1892 and it still remains unfinished.
This stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture is located on Amsterdam Avenue, between West 110th Street and West 113th Street in Manhattan. The interior of the church covers over 102,000 square feet. The interior height of the nave is 124 feet.
